HipVan

Meet HipVan

HipVan is a Singapore-based online furniture and homeware brand that helps homeowners create inspiring spaces with stylish, affordable furniture and furnishings. Its website features a wide range of home categories, including sofas, dining sets, beds, mattresses, lighting, décor and more.

Hipvan Banner

The initial challenge

HipVan partnered with First Page to grow organic revenue from non-branded search while strengthening visibility across high-value furniture categories.

The challenge was not simply to increase traffic, but to improve commercial search performance in an increasingly competitive furniture landscape. Organic growth was clustered around a limited number of categories, while several key search terms had declined year-on-year.

At the same time, duplicate and overlapping category structures were diluting search visibility. This created keyword cannibalisation issues, reduced clarity for search engines, and made it harder for priority commercial pages to rank consistently.

Competition was also intensifying, with other furniture retailers investing heavily in content authority, buying guides and AI-search visibility.

Grafunkt

Meet Grafunkt

Grafunkt is a luxury furniture brand in Singapore with a strong offline reputation and a curated design-led product offering.

While the brand already had market recognition, it needed a stronger organic search presence to capture users searching for luxury furniture, designer furniture and related non-branded furniture terms online.

grafunkt banner

The initial challenge

Grafunkt partnered with First Page to expand its digital presence and grow brand awareness in Singapore’s luxury furniture market.

The brand was competing against established luxury furniture retailers with stronger digital visibility, including players such as XTRA and Space Furniture. This made it harder for Grafunkt to appear for high-value non-branded search terms.

Despite having a strong offline reputation, Grafunkt had limited online awareness. Users searching for furniture inspiration, designer pieces and premium home furnishings were less likely to discover the brand through organic search.

There were also no prior SEO efforts in place, which meant First Page had to build the campaign from scratch. The strategy needed to improve technical foundations, keyword visibility and content relevance at the same time.

CIMB

Meet CIMB

CIMB Singapore provides personal and business banking solutions for customers in Singapore, including products across deposits, personal financing, credit cards, insurance and business banking. Its personal banking site describes its offering as an extensive suite of banking solutions, while its business banking page focuses on financial solutions for business needs.

As search behaviour evolves across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT and other AI-powered discovery platforms, CIMB needed a stronger organic foundation that could support visibility across both traditional search and emerging AI search experiences.

cimb banner

The initial challenge

CIMB partnered with First Page to strengthen its visibility across core banking products while building a future-proof SEO foundation for AI-powered discovery.

Although strong rankings already existed, topical authority remained fragmented across key service areas. This meant CIMB had opportunities to consolidate keyword targeting, reduce dilution and create clearer content pathways across important banking categories.

The competitive landscape was also challenging. Search results for banking products are dominated by established financial brands, comparison platforms and publishers competing heavily for high-value finance keywords.

At the same time, search behaviour was shifting. Users were increasingly relying on AI-generated answers, Google AI Overviews and conversational discovery platforms to compare banking products, understand eligibility and shortlist providers.

Kaadas

Meet Kaadas

Kaadas Singapore provides digital smart locks and home security products for homeowners, including options such as facial recognition locks, fingerprint locks, vein recognition locks, video locks, WiFi locks, gate locks, glass door locks and digital viewers. Its website positions the brand around keyless entry, home security, smart access features and digital locks for HDB flats, condominiums and other homes in Singapore.

kaadas banner

The initial challenge

Kaadas partnered with First Page to boost online visibility and conversions by improving SEO performance and optimising product-specific content.

The smart lock industry was highly competitive, with search results dominated by well-established players. This made it harder for Kaadas to capture users searching for digital locks, smart locks and home security products in Singapore.

The website also had a cluttered structure that affected user experience and navigation. Users needed a clearer path to compare products, understand key features and move towards purchase decisions.

At the same time, Kaadas had strong social media momentum, but this was not translating fully into organic search performance. First Page needed to connect brand awareness with stronger search visibility and product-page engagement.

M1 Maxx

Meet M1 Maxx

Maxx is a SIM-only mobile plan offering from M1, built around affordable no-contract mobile connectivity for users in Singapore. The official Maxx site currently highlights plans with large local data allowances, roaming data across multiple countries, eSIM and physical SIM options, free caller number display, unlimited local incoming calls, and SIM card delivery.

In a competitive telco market where users compare SIM-only plans based on data, roaming, price and flexibility, M1 Maxx needed stronger visibility not only on Google, but also across AI-powered discovery platforms where users increasingly ask for recommendations and comparisons.

The initial challenge

M1 Maxx partnered with First Page to increase its visibility in AI-generated answers across platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity.

As a challenger telco brand, Maxx was competing against larger and more established mobile providers with stronger market presence and brand recognition. This made it harder for the brand to surface consistently when users searched for SIM plan recommendations, roaming SIM options and affordable mobile plans.

The challenge was also different from traditional SEO. Instead of only ranking on search engine results pages, Maxx needed to appear in AI-generated responses where visibility depends on entity strength, topical relevance, content clarity, citation likelihood and how well the brand is associated with specific user prompts.

There was also no fixed optimisation playbook for this emerging search landscape. First Page needed to track how Maxx appeared across priority prompts, identify visibility gaps, and continuously refine content signals to improve Maxx’s share of voice against larger competitors.

Allinton

Meet Allinton

Allinton Engineering & Trading Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based industrial products and engineering solutions provider established in 1982. The company started by supplying shipyards and factories, and has grown into a provider of industrial products, engineering solutions and digital integration services across regional markets.

Allinton serves a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automobile, construction, data centres, energy, manufacturing, oil and gas, offshore and marine, petrochemical and refinery, pharmaceutical, shipyard, and transport and logistics.

Its product categories include air tools, construction tools, electrical products, hand tools, power tools, safety and spill control, welding products, steel, valves and pipe fittings, and other industrial supplies.

Allinton banner

The initial challenge

Allinton partnered with First Page to increase online enquiries by ranking 50% of core keywords within a year through strategic SEO enhancements, content alignment and improved site structure.

The website faced extensive content cannibalisation, which reduced keyword clarity and ranking potential. Multiple pages were competing for similar search themes, making it harder for Google to identify the most relevant page for important industrial tool and product queries.

The campaign also operated in a competitive industrial tools space, where Google heavily favoured long-established competitors with stronger historical visibility and authority.

Site structure and internal navigation created another challenge. The existing structure limited search engine crawlability and ranking efficiency, making it harder for important commercial pages to receive authority and visibility.

DHL

Meet Discover DHL

Discover DHL is DHL’s content and advice hub for businesses looking to better understand shipping, logistics, international delivery, customs and e-commerce growth. The platform features expert insights, logistics advice, shipping resources and practical guides designed to help businesses navigate global shipping decisions.

For the Singapore market, Discover DHL also publishes logistics advice and shipping-related content covering topics such as supply chain operations, international shipping, customs, industry-specific logistics and business growth opportunities.

DHL Discover Banner

The initial challenge

DHL partnered with First Page to expand organic visibility across complex, high-intent shipping queries and build an always-on organic discovery engine across APAC markets.

The challenge was that customer queries were becoming increasingly specialised. Many users were not searching with simple, traditional keywords. Instead, they were asking detailed, industry-specific questions around shipping requirements, logistics processes, customs documentation, international delivery and business use cases.

Discovery behaviour was also shifting towards AI answer engines, where visibility depends on content clarity, authority, structure and the ability to directly answer specific user questions.

At the same time, DHL needed to scale content across different industries, markets and use cases without compromising accuracy, compliance or brand voice. This required a content system that could move faster than traditional manual research and production, while still maintaining trust and quality.

Megagenix

Meet Megagenix

Megagenix is a Singapore-based consultancy providing CFD simulation, ACMV, HVAC and engineering consultation for commercial applications. Its website positions the company around CFD simulation consulting, MEP solutions and engineering insights, with services covering CFD simulation, thermal analysis, FEA analysis, natural ventilation, data centre CFD and other technical engineering scenarios.

The company serves complex engineering needs across areas such as pollutant dispersion, natural ventilation, data centre cooling, noise reduction, explosion and combustion analysis, thermal analysis, fire and ventilation analysis, and other specialised simulation scenarios.

megagenix banner

The initial challenge

Megagenix partnered with First Page to strengthen its digital authority in a niche, high-trust industry while driving qualified leads and improving visibility against established competitors.

The website had limited existing SEO authority and visibility, making it harder for Megagenix to compete for specialised engineering and CFD-related searches.

Another challenge was the nature of the content. Technical and niche industry topics were not always SEO-friendly or easily understood by general users. This made it important to translate complex subject matter into clear, searchable and conversion-focused content without losing technical accuracy.

To generate qualified leads, First Page needed to target users with real commercial intent while making Megagenix’s expertise easier for both search engines and prospective customers to understand.

Gain City

Meet Gain City

Gain City is one of Singapore’s major electronics, air-conditioning and home appliance retailers. Its online store covers a wide range of categories, including air conditioners, TVs, laptops, IT products, furniture, bedding and home appliances.

Founded in 1981, Gain City is also widely known for its air-conditioning retail, installation and maintenance services, alongside its wider consumer electronics offering.

With a broad product catalogue and strong retail presence, Gain City needed stronger organic visibility across competitive product categories where users were actively comparing appliances, electronics and home products before purchase.

gain city banner

The initial challenge

Gain City partnered with First Page to drive targeted keywords to Page 1 within 12 months while significantly increasing organic traffic and conversions across key product category pages.

The challenge was highly competitive. Gain City was competing against established retail rivals such as Harvey Norman and Courts, which had stronger SEO visibility across many commercial search terms.

Many non-brand keywords had little to no visibility, making it difficult for Gain City’s product category pages to capture users searching for appliances, electronics and other high-intent retail products.

Technical SEO issues also limited performance. Pre-existing crawlability and indexing problems restricted Google’s ability to properly discover, understand and rank important product pages.

On top of that, some product pages lacked established backlink authority, making it harder for them to compete in search results against stronger retail domains.

Maxi-Cash

Meet Maxi-Cash

Maxi-Cash is a Singapore pawnbroker and retail destination for buying, selling and pawning gold. Its website positions the brand as a place to buy, sell or pawn gold, with related services including pawning, e-valuation, interest payment and online shopping.

maxi cash banner

The initial challenge

Maxi-Cash partnered with First Page to expand digital visibility and increase revenue by improving SEO performance in new verticals, specifically jewellery and gems, while consolidating ecommerce efforts onto the main site domain.

The brand had minimal online visibility in jewellery and gems categories, limiting discovery and sales from users searching for these products online.

Another challenge was that ecommerce products were hosted on a subdomain. This weakened SEO authority, fragmented the website’s search signals and made it harder for product-led content to contribute fully to the main domain’s organic performance.

Migrating ecommerce content to the main domain introduced SEO risks, but also created a major growth opportunity. The strategy needed to preserve visibility, consolidate authority and create a cleaner structure for future ecommerce growth.
