Meet Discover DHL

Discover DHL is DHL’s content and advice hub for businesses looking to better understand shipping, logistics, international delivery, customs and e-commerce growth. For the Singapore market, Discover DHL also publishes logistics advice and shipping-related content covering topics such as supply chain operations, international shipping, customs, industry-specific logistics and business growth opportunities.

The initial challenge

DHL partnered with First Page to expand organic visibility across complex, high-intent shipping queries and build an always-on organic discovery engine across APAC markets.

The challenge was that customer queries were becoming increasingly specialised. Many users were not searching with simple, traditional keywords. Instead, they were asking detailed, industry-specific questions around shipping requirements, logistics processes, customs documentation, international delivery and business use cases.

Discovery behaviour was also shifting towards AI answer engines, where visibility depends on content clarity, authority, structure and the ability to directly answer specific user questions.

At the same time, DHL needed to scale content across different industries, markets and use cases without compromising accuracy, compliance or brand voice. This required a content system that could move faster than traditional manual research and production, while still maintaining trust and quality.

Megagenix

Meet Megagenix

Megagenix is a Singapore-based consultancy providing CFD simulation, ACMV, HVAC and engineering consultation for commercial applications. Its website positions the company around CFD simulation consulting, MEP solutions and engineering insights, with services covering CFD simulation, thermal analysis, FEA analysis, natural ventilation, data centre CFD and other technical engineering scenarios.

The company serves complex engineering needs across areas such as pollutant dispersion, natural ventilation, data centre cooling, noise reduction, explosion and combustion analysis, thermal analysis, fire and ventilation analysis, and other specialised simulation scenarios.

The initial challenge

Megagenix partnered with First Page to strengthen its digital authority in a niche, high-trust industry while driving qualified leads and improving visibility against established competitors.

The website had limited existing SEO authority and visibility, making it harder for Megagenix to compete for specialised engineering and CFD-related searches.

Another challenge was the nature of the content. Technical and niche industry topics were not always SEO-friendly or easily understood by general users. This made it important to translate complex subject matter into clear, searchable and conversion-focused content without losing technical accuracy.

To generate qualified leads, First Page needed to target users with real commercial intent while making Megagenix’s expertise easier for both search engines and prospective customers to understand.

Gain City

Meet Gain City

Gain City is one of Singapore’s major electronics, air-conditioning and home appliance retailers. Its online store covers a wide range of categories, including air conditioners, TVs, laptops, IT products, furniture, bedding and home appliances.

Founded in 1981, Gain City is also widely known for its air-conditioning retail, installation and maintenance services, alongside its wider consumer electronics offering.

With a broad product catalogue and strong retail presence, Gain City needed stronger organic visibility across competitive product categories where users were actively comparing appliances, electronics and home products before purchase.

The initial challenge

Gain City partnered with First Page to drive targeted keywords to Page 1 within 12 months while significantly increasing organic traffic and conversions across key product category pages.

The challenge was highly competitive. Gain City was competing against established retail rivals such as Harvey Norman and Courts, which had stronger SEO visibility across many commercial search terms.

Many non-brand keywords had little to no visibility, making it difficult for Gain City’s product category pages to capture users searching for appliances, electronics and other high-intent retail products.

Technical SEO issues also limited performance. Pre-existing crawlability and indexing problems restricted Google’s ability to properly discover, understand and rank important product pages.

On top of that, some product pages lacked established backlink authority, making it harder for them to compete in search results against stronger retail domains.

Maxi-Cash

Meet Maxi-Cash

Maxi-Cash is a Singapore pawnbroker and retail destination for buying, selling and pawning gold. Its website positions the brand as a place to buy, sell or pawn gold, with related services including pawning, e-valuation, interest payment and online shopping.

The initial challenge

Maxi-Cash partnered with First Page to expand digital visibility and increase revenue by improving SEO performance in new verticals, specifically jewellery and gems, while consolidating ecommerce efforts onto the main site domain.

The brand had minimal online visibility in jewellery and gems categories, limiting discovery and sales from users searching for these products online.

Another challenge was that ecommerce products were hosted on a subdomain. This weakened SEO authority, fragmented the website’s search signals and made it harder for product-led content to contribute fully to the main domain’s organic performance.

Migrating ecommerce content to the main domain introduced SEO risks, but also created a major growth opportunity. The strategy needed to preserve visibility, consolidate authority and create a cleaner structure for future ecommerce growth.

The Cocoa Trees

Meet The Cocoa Trees

The Cocoa Trees is a well-known chocolate and confectionery retailer with a wide range of products across multiple brands, collections and gifting categories.

With a large ecommerce website and many product-led pages, the brand needed a stronger SEO strategy to capture non-branded search demand and guide users towards relevant collection pages.

the cocoa trees banner

The initial challenge

The Cocoa Trees partnered with First Page to boost sales revenue and organic traffic through stronger SEO visibility.

The website had a large number of pages, which created cannibalisation issues among branded content. Several pages were competing against one another for similar keyword themes, making it harder for search engines to understand which pages should rank.

Most pages were also not fully optimised to capture non-branded traffic. This limited the brand’s ability to reach users searching for broader chocolate, confectionery and gifting-related terms.

At the same time, the website was undergoing a revamp, which made SEO migration and site-wide optimisation especially important. Without proper SEO handling, important pages could lose visibility, rankings or traffic during the transition.

Evans Dermalogical

Meet Evans Dermalogical

Evans Dermalogical is a Singapore skincare brand offering skincare and beauty products across categories such as anti-ageing, Vitamin C, Diamond Tomato®, skin whitening, facial masks, sunscreen, cleansers, toners, serums and treatments. Its website also organises products by skin concerns including anti-ageing, dull skin, dry skin, acne-prone skin and whitening.

The initial challenge

Evans Dermalogical partnered with First Page to build a strong online presence for Evans Dermalogical and Nutrilife, supporting brand growth in a competitive skincare market dominated by global players.

The brand was competing against powerhouse skincare names such as SK-II and La Roche-Posay, along with search results dominated by listicles, retail platforms and large beauty publishers.

There was also no prior SEO foundation or domain authority to build upon. This made it harder for Evans Dermalogical to rank for competitive skincare keywords and capture users searching for anti-ageing products, Vitamin C skincare, whitening solutions and skin condition-related topics.

Another challenge was aligning online growth with retail success in Watsons and Guardian. First Page needed to strengthen organic visibility in a way that supported the brand’s wider retail presence and ecommerce revenue growth.

Da Paolo

Meet Da Paolo

Da Paolo is a Singapore-based Italian restaurant, café and gourmet deli group established in 1989. The brand offers Italian dining experiences across concepts such as Da Paolo Dempsey, Gastronomia, Pizza Bar, Pasta Bar, Panini Italiani and Tutto, with online ordering, delivery, catering and gourmet hampers also available.

With a long-standing brand presence and strong reputation for authentic Italian food in Singapore, Da Paolo needed to grow organic visibility while staying aligned with strict brand standards and content guidelines.

Da Paolo Banner

The initial challenge

Da Paolo partnered with First Page to strengthen its visibility for high-intent searches such as “Italian restaurant Singapore” and “fresh pasta Singapore”, while building steady organic growth despite CMS and branding constraints.

The brand was initially not ranking for several business-critical keywords, limiting its ability to capture users actively searching for Italian restaurants, fresh pasta, delivery and dining options in Singapore.

The website’s custom CMS also made uploading, tracking and implementing SEO changes more difficult. Content updates required longer lead times, which meant SEO recommendations had to be practical, prioritised and carefully aligned with available implementation windows.

At the same time, strict branding guidelines limited the volume and style of content that could be published. First Page needed to balance SEO recommendations with Da Paolo’s established brand voice, ensuring that optimisation work did not compromise the premium feel of the brand.

Oon & Bazul

Meet Oon & Bazul

Oon & Bazul is a Singapore law firm and commercial legal practice. The firm describes itself as a large leading commercial practice, with lawyers known for delivering high-quality work and helping clients achieve success. Its website also highlights recognition from leading legal publications and includes notable cases across disputes, arbitration, shipping, banking, trade finance and cross-border matters.

oon bazul banner

The initial challenge

Oon & Bazul partnered with First Page to build SEO presence from scratch within the legal industry, a high-trust and extremely competitive field for organic search.

The brand had no meaningful presence for non-brand keywords on Google Search. This limited its ability to reach users searching for legal services, commercial disputes, arbitration, shipping law and other practice-area related queries.

The legal SERP was also dominated by established firms and high-authority competitors. To compete, Oon & Bazul needed more than basic keyword optimisation. The website had to demonstrate credibility, expertise and relevance in a way that search engines could clearly understand.

Another challenge was the technical depth of legal content. High-trust and high-context legal pages required careful structuring, subject knowledge and alignment with what Google prioritises for legal service queries.

CAKEBAR

Meet Cakebar

Cakebar is an online cake and dessert brand offering products for gifting, celebrations and everyday indulgence. With demand coming from customers searching for cakes, artisanal desserts and gift boxes online, Cakebar needed stronger organic visibility to capture high-intent searches and convert them into online sales.

cakebar banner

The initial challenge

Cakebar partnered with First Page to build organic visibility for revenue-driving product keywords, increase brand awareness and generate more sales through its online store.

The brand had little to no organic presence for important commercial keywords. This meant that users searching for cake shops, artisanal cakes, desserts and gift boxes were less likely to discover Cakebar through organic search.

The challenge was not only to improve rankings, but to grow visibility and revenue at the same time. Cakebar needed SEO work that could support both brand discovery and direct online purchases.

There was also a clear need to drive more conversions from organic traffic. First Page needed to ensure that keyword targeting, page optimisation and content development were closely aligned with product demand and online buying intent.
